About Kathmandu Doc Lab
Building on the foundations of the Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival’s (kimff) 25-year legacy, the kimff Foundation started the Kathmandu Doc Lab in order to create a space where filmmakers can develop their stories with guidance from accomplished mentors who understand the unique context, challenges, and opportunities of South Asian storytelling.
The Kathmandu Doc Lab aims to serve as a hub for South Asian non-fiction storytelling offering guidance to filmmakers, connecting them to international partners and helping them bring the stories they wish to tell to life.
